Mathias Brandewinder

I have been writing software for nearly 10 years now, and loving every minute of it, except maybe for a few release days. My primary language was C#, until I discovered and fell in love with F#. I enjoy arguing about code and ways to make it better, and get very excited when discussing TDD, F# or functional programming.

My other professional specialty revolves around using applied math to solve complex problems; I am currently particularly interested in Machine Learning.

I wrote a book! The title is "Machine Learning Projects for .NET Developers", it's a fun introduction to, well, machine learning, using real-world data sets to learn how to build simple models. You can find more about it here: http://www.amazon.com/Machine-Learning-Projects-NET-Developers/dp/1430267674/?tag=mathias-brandewinder-20

What else? I have somewhat eclectic interests, but some stable pillars are Thai Boxing, enjoying the good things in life with friends, and learning how to do things.
