Mathieu D'Amours

FR//Je respire depuis le 18 juin 2001. Je croyais être né à 18:31 mais cet été, en voyant mon certificat de naissance, j'ai vu que l'heure de ma naissance était 19:31 donc ma vie est pratiquement détruite.

J'apprends des langues depuis un an et demi. J'ai commencé avec l'italien, puis le grec, puis l'estonien pour enfin décider d'apprendre définitivement le tchèque.

Je n'aime pas l'interaction humaine et fait tout en mon possible pour me retrouver seul la plupart du temps. Les seuls gens avec qui je suis à l'aise sont mes amis proches.

J'aime les animaux. Les flamants roses sont mes préférés.

J'aime les grands centres urbains. La campagne, pas pour moi. Un gratte-ciel, s'il vous plaît! Trop posé? Oui, Mathieu, maintenant calme toi.

Plus tard, j'aimerais déménager dans une métropole avec plusieurs quartiers ethniques afin de m'aider dans mon apprentissage de langues. Écrire un livre, le traduire moi-même et ouvrir une boulangerie sont d'autres idées pour le futur.

I am 14 years old and from Québec, Canada. I was born on June 18th of 2001 but I relate to things "90's kids" say.

3 years ago I gave up on Hogwarts, even though all the quizzes told me I was a Ravenclaw. That didn't stop me from reading Harry Potter 4 times since then and also reading a bunch of books. Bookworm over here.

I am fluent in english since about a year and a half. One of my goals in life is to become a polyglot. For my third language, I have been changing since about a year. It began with italian, then greek, then estonian after I finally settled on learning Czech.

I don't like human interaction that much. I'm very awkward around people I don't know/people I hate/crowds. I like to be alone and I wish people understood that I'm not sad about it.

I like big cities (Hence the background). I don't like small towns with close-knit communities. I plan on living in a metropolis with a tramway system as I am obsessed with tramways.

Later in life I plan on studying in what I like, doing what I like even if it doesn't pay much. Also, no office jobs. I want to learn languages constantly and living in a big city with a lot of ethnicities will definitely come in handy. I want to write a book, translate it myself. I also would like to open a bakery (I've been scheming with my cousin for a while now) later on.
