Akhil Mathur

I am an ambitious, 19-year-old Day Trader. I have a plan on getting a Bachelors degree in Business and Finance. My passion, from a young age was the stock market. I bought my first stock at the age of 14. The stock tripled in value and went up for a high of 349%.

From a young age I always had an excitement about money. In Winter 2011, I took over my Fathers brokerage account. I started out with low priced penny stocks. The summer before my Senior Year I began to day trade options. I followed the market everyday and truly found a passion in the trading world. Since School has started I can only trade in the first hour of the day. I've also begun to show interest in Futures trading.

I spent most of my summer looking up charts and analyzing them for hours. I am in the process of learning more about the financial world. My goal is to become a Hedge Fund Manager or an Investment Banker. I am currently searching for a good mentor in the industry and/or anyone willing to share knowledge or their experiences working in the Finance World.
