Hi, welcome to my profile. I'm Matias Facio dancer and teacher of Tango Argentino. I started dancing Tango at the age of 16 and since then i've been submerged in this dance, its tradition and culture. In 2002 i moved to Buenos Aires to develop my dances skills. There i participated in a new movement which started few years before, and that later was known as Tango Nuevo. Of course we didn't know that that we were creating something different, we were just dancing, having fun and rediscovering Tango. I remeber to have called to what i was dancing something like Modern Tango Salon.

I believe that Tango, as any other cultural fenomena, is an expression of a society, and we could all agree that Tango in the 20', 30', 40', 80' and the actuall Tango, has been changing all the time.

Nowadays, i'm based in Berlin where i have, together with my dance partner Claudia Rogowski, a tango studio called, of course, 'Tango Libre', I always stay in permanent exchange with other professional dancers, i never stop learning and investigating.
