Matías Fainbrum
I started my professional career at Telecom Argentina back in 1998. Then I jumped to Oracle where I spent more than 6 years in Sales and Marketing. It was an enriching experience because I had the chance to participate in the genesis of the Sales Channel strategy in South Latin America. One of my main achievements at that time was the development of a strategic partnership with Red Hat to launch the Linux Unbreakable program in Latin America. This became the starting point for Red Hat operations in the region. In 2004 I worked as Marketing Manager for PeopleSoft South Latin America. I switched from Infrastructure Technology (Oracle) to Business Processes (Peoplesoft). I learned a lot about ERP, CRM, SCM and HCM and spearheaded a Lead Generation Team achieving a 40% increase in the regional sales pipeline.
After Peoplesoft I started to work as a Senior Consultant in Strategy with Endeavor Argentina. I had the chance to work with Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey consultants helping entrepreneurs to grow their companies exponentially. This job inspired me to create a company called Business Minds (B-Minds). B-Minds offers demand generation services for companies that want to grow their sales in Latin America. Those services are composed of Business Consulting and a Call Center specialized on complex sales.
In parallel, I have an active participation in the entrepreneur ecosystem. I collaborate with Business in Development Network as a mentor for small entrepreneurs worldwide. I also work as an Advisor for the ECLA (Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America) at The Jerome A.Chazen Institute of International Business, Columbia University.
BOTTOM LINE: My background is made up of more than 10 years of experience working for leading multinational companies, consultancy and entrepreneurial projects.
