Born on 8th December 1980 in Zagreb where he attended elementary school. He enrolled at the secondary school for dental technicians, where he is one of the 30 pupils who participated in the competitions and represented Zagreb County in modulation and fine motor skills. He enrolled at the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb. During university studies, he terminated his sports career and completely focussed on his studies. He continues with his further professional trainings.

From the early childhood he has been taking up sport. He strated with judo and won the 3rd place in the Croatian junior selection. Simultaneously he took up swimming and competed for the “Zagreb Swimming Club-Mladost”. He has taken up skiing since he was five and achieved good results in club competitions. His greatest love is sports dancing – Latin American dances; he was very passionate about it and achieved the best scores. He was twice the state champion, three times vice-champion and his greatest result is the 18th place at the World Championship with Tamara Despot in Russia among the 72 best couples in the world. He continued with recreational dancing, fitness, sailing, skiing and hunting.
