Matiki's artistic genius has fueled an illustrious career as a prominent Film industry Make-up Pro.
For over two decades, she's been head designer for major motion pictures, as well as a Special Effects Artist, Celebrity Make up Artist, Editorial and Fashion Make up Artist and Contracted CoverGirl Cosmetic Spokesperson.
Her Make up creations have graced over fifty Hollywood features, television productions, commercials, music videos and editorial spreads for European Vogue, Marie Claire and Elle magazines.
Her celebrity requests read like a "who's who" of Hollywood heavyweights: including; Oprah Winfry, Rachel Mcadams, Halle Berry, Idris Elba, Emily Blunt, Mindy Kaling, Gabrielle Union, Denzel Wahington, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Gwyneth Paltrow , Samuel L jackson, Queen Latifah, Angela Basset, Kerry Washington, Hedi Klum, legendary Make up artist Pat McGrath in addition to her eight year contract with fifteen time Grammy award wining artist, Eminem.
Matiki's participated in the creative teams of Oscar award wining movies such as The Note Book, Wolf of Wall St, Catch me if you can, Wall St 2 and 8 Mile, just to mention a few.
Her most recent accomplishments include work on the Make up teams of the remake of Annie, the upcoming movies, The Intern and Seth Rogens' Xmas and continues her seven year contract as HD Specialist Make up designer of the Emmy winning The Met Opera HD Live!
Matiki presented the best cinematographer award for the 1st African Academy Awards in Bayelsa state, Nigeria and was a panelist for “Careers in Entertainment" presented by New York City Mayor’s Office of Film. She's also both a Hollywood Guild Award for Make up design nominee and two time Emmy nominated for excellence in Make up Design.
Matiki was born in Ghana, West Africa, raised in London and resides in both New York and Accra.
She's an accomplished Screenwriter, Interior Designer and avid contributor to the charity, Women For Women Int.
