I've always kept my online activities strictly divided into two very separate spheres: personal and professional. However, this about.me profile became a giant stumbling block. Which sphere do I choose for each account I list here—personal or professional? My solution: make the professional more personal.
Here are things I think about, in no conscious order: coffee, educational technology, screwball comedies, new technologies of expression, songs that I'd like to forget, being the pass-it-down computer caretaker for loved ones, empowering people with knowledge, technology as knowledge-delivery systems, puppies, kittens, serial commas, independent-dependent clause constructs, and chocolate.
I've been online for a very long time. I had a bbs back in the olden days before I skipped off to college and lost interest for a few years. I love logic, am good at splitting appetizers, and play games to win. I'm still pretty sure I can change the world (but sometimes forget).
