Matin Jalallar

Since becoming the president of Jalallar Gallery in 2012, Matin Jalallar has overseen all aspects of the gallery’s daily business that range from planning and implementing marketing strategies to hiring and training all new employees. Possessing a lifelong interest in art, Matin Jalallar chooses artwork for the gallery and maintains a database of all the gallery’s pieces. To ensure client satisfaction, he communicates closely to find pieces suited to each individual aesthetic and budget. He also aims to increase exposure for the gallery by hosting auctions and other events.

In his free time, Matin Jalallar enjoys listening to popular artists such as the Beatles, Kid Cudi, John Mayer, and Eminem. Additionally, he supports all New York sports teams. He has a special fondness for basketball. An avid car enthusiast, Jalallar favors luxury brands, including BMW and Mercedes-Benz. He also enjoys giving back to his community through his involvement with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and other charitable organizations.
