As the first HR manager in Welcome to Yorkshire it was my role to work with Directors and Senior Managers to inspire, educate and create an understanding of how HR can add value to the bottom line by aligning their people to the organisation’s vision.

The role demands enthusiasm and a wide range of skills and knowledge from marketing and communications to relationship building and project management. Since joining Welcome to Yorkshire I have led a significant change in the culture of the organisation and created an award winning team.
