Mathieu Péloquin is Vice President Marketing, digital solutions for Transcontinental Media. He is responsible for the marketing strategies and execution for the various business groups under the New Media and Digital Group. He is also in charge of the database optimization and monetization strategy for all of Media. Previously, Mathieu was Vice President Marketing at Reader’s Digest Canada we he lead a group of 65 employees including the database group and creative services. His team was responsible for achieving revenues and profit targets for magazines, online properties and other product lines. Under his leadership, two new properties were launched including Best Health magazine and besthealthmag.ca. Before joining Reader’s Digest in 2001, Mathieu was Vice President and co-founder of Equinox Marketing Services, a call center service bureau of more than 300 employees now under the Canada Direct Group. In 1998, he received the very prestigious award of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the services category for the Province of Québec. He is Co-President of the RMA and member of the Board of the Canadian Marketing Association. Mathieu is a business graduate of l’École des Sciences de la Gestion de l’UQAM and is a Certified Management Accountant.
