Mary Ann Thornton

I am a public relations professional, with a focus on influencing stakeholder and public engagement in local government through effective communication and events. As the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Village of South Holland, I oversee several areas, including media relations, internal and external communications, public access cable productions, website management, community publications, special events, and grants management. I graduated in 1992 from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in English Literature. In September 2015, crossed the stage again; this time from Full Sail University with a Public Relations Master of Arts degree.
