Great businesses always start with an idea to change things for the better. Then that idea attracts talent, customers and investors. Somehow through industrialization we have confused ends and means. Most institutions today seem to focus only on outputs. Not inputs. Education that focuses on test results not learning, health care that focuses on symptoms not causes and businesses that focuses on short term gains not long term value.
