Born and raised in Nelson I worked in I.T from the age of 15 (it's OK, I was still at school )right through to the age of 27. Initially, I designed & built some of New Zealand's first long-range wireless broadband networks for Internet providers. Worked for Microsoft Australia as a Systems Analyst. Then moved home to found one of New Zealand's first Cloud Storage / Backup providers; Data Sanctuary.

In 2009 I sold my I.T Business and moved to Christchurch. I got married, had children, and began my journey in counseling and mental health.

Today I have worked as a School Counsellor for many years, Owning my own private practice called Happy Minds Counselling in Rolleston, where I specialize in Child, Adolescent, and Family Counselling. Jennifer and I also have a small property development company Zenith Property LTD

Outside work I love to play softball, head to the lake, or ocean boating with the family. We love to camp and go on big camping adventures whenever we can. My secret passion is DIY. Unfortunately, I'm not as good at it as I think I am according to Jennifer. She is probably right!
