The SVP, Senior Advisor for NASDAQ, Matthew Brown has leadership expertise and experience in the finance technology (FinTech), risk & compliance and information services industries. His duties as Nasdaq's Global Head of Sales involved leadership of approximately 190 sales professionals operating in 14 countries, overseeing all sales functions and growth initiatives for this business unit. He has garnered considerable experience in areas including consultative selling and value proposition development, sales enablement technology, M&A diligence and strategy, and vertical/geographic business expansion.

While working for the stock exchange, Matthew Brown was an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute, a leading association of investor relations professionals. He remains actively connected to the FinTech industry by attending events such as FinTech Week. He is also an active investor and advisor in the New York technology startup community.

Outside of the professional environment, he is an avid international traveler who enjoys hiking, golfing, running, and playing basketball.
