Howdy, I’m Matt. I’m a software engineer (UX Designer) at IFS living in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
I've been doing Web Design, UX/UI Design & Front-End Development for 16 years. I started off in Marketing for an eCommerce company then moved into web design which I developed a passion for. A few years ago, I went into the freelance market and worked on some interesting projects for lots of different companies. Now at IFS I focus on UX and accessibility in the enterprise workspace, this is a challenge as most enterprise software has a lot usability issues.
In my spare time I try and learn new things like docker, angular etc. But I also do none tech activities, I work out at my local CrossFit box, go to the movies lots, enjoy some escape rooms, drink lots of coffee at local cafe and try to be outdoors as much as i can. At home I live with my girlfriend Laura and we have 2 adorable cats!
