Grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota with many a summer spent on the St. Croix River on the family houseboat. I should say IN the St. Croix River because it was tough to ever get me out of the water!! Who wants to go tubing!?

Married to the love of my life who has always been my biggest supporter, my biggest fan, and my rock in whatever I've done. Thanks Bethany!!

At one time or another has been actively involved in (and sometimes obsessed with) the following activities: Football, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, Swimming, Running, Rollerblading, Beach Volleyball, Cliff-jumping, Spinning, and now Strength Training. You can also find me walking our dog, Grace, around Lake Calhoun once in a while.

Has now lived in 3 out of the top 6 coldest weather cities in the United States: Minneapolis, Chicago, and Anchorage! I've got this cold weather thing down!!

Degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage-English Major (Rhetoric and Language) with a Minor in Psychology. Big accomplishment for me, especially since I went back to college in my early 30's! This comes from a guy who hadn't even heard of Microsoft Word before 2007! ;) Ended up with a 3.85 GPA, on the Dean's list, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

My younger years were spent in the restaurant business, From slinging pizzas to managing partner, I've done it all, and I can now tell you which Bordeaux from the Left Bank would pair best with an Italian sausage and black olive pizza! I found my special talent!!
