Matt Doiron

I am an ambitious, determined, and accomplished junior-year college student studying Accounting at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Some people say that Accounting is my passion, but I feel as though there are other things in life that are more meaningful and essential to my happiness.

The number one most important thing in my life is family. There is nothing I enjoy more than just hearing from my family, checking in, or getting to see them in person. My family has shaped who I am, and has helped pushed me and support me through all of my endeavors.

I also do really enjoy accounting and hope to some day make a career in the field in the years to come. I have worked very hard for everything I have accomplished in my academic career thus far, and I know there are incredible opportunities on my horizon.

Another thing I feel very strongly about is my attitudes towards sports. I love the idea of team work and collaborating towards a common goal. I have formed so manny relationships and had wonderful opportunities surrounding my local sports teams and it is something I hope I will never be without.

Taking all of this into consideration, I aspire to start my post-college life livnig and working in Boston. I believe this will fully engross everything I appreciate in my life. I want to pursue my career, and form very close and meaningful relationships with some of my best friends in the place that I love most. Once I have established a solid career, I hope to form and develop my own close-knit family based on strong values. Like I'm sure most people think, I would love to take each and every one of my favorite aspects of life and try to incorporate that into my life in the future: family, community, and a career I love.
