Biopharmaceuticals Department- Lab Aid II-

Worked with live cell based assays to monitor and modulate the level of a protein of interest. Developed resistant cancer cell lines to standard of care chemotherapeutics.
Aliquoted general laboratory solutions, Operated under sterile and non-sterile conditions. Level One and Two biohazards were present and used in the laboratory.
Practiced and competent in a variety of bioinformatics and data analysis tasks including: siRNA microarray interpretation, tissue microarray, and high throughput cell based assays.
Maintained lab notebooks and other systems of documentation. Contributed to the lab's SOPs and relevant laboratory procedures.

Knowledgeable in laboratory safety techniques and waste disposal procedures.
Competent in live cell work, including adherent and suspension cells, cancer and primary cell lines.
Experienced utilizing techniques in the basic manipulation of nucleic acids and proteins: PCR, RTPCR, Site directed mutagenesis, Western Blot, Northern Blot.
Competent in a variety of cytotoxity assays: MTT, MTS, Resazurin, and Horsche dyes.
