Matt Rush
marine biology student from UCLA in Los Angeles, California
Hello! I’m Matt Rush, a twenty-year-old marine biology student from UCLA. A few months ago, I had my Marine Biology Quarter where I witnessed what happens to marine communities. The whole experience made me more interested in the field I’m currently studying.
These days, I work part-time at a Trader Joe’s to save up for my MS studies. Other days you might find me at the local animal shelter. Most people think of me as a tree-hugger. I guess a better way to describe me would be “sea-lover.” My passion really lies in studying marine life and making the world a better place for its residents.
