Since I was a young child, I have enjoyed going on planes on exploring new places with my family. Every time I have taken off or landed on a plane, a rush of excitement has gone through me with the anticipation of visiting somewhere new. My family and I have taken many adventurous and memorable vacations together to enjoy mother nature and different climates. When I mean mother nature, I mean that we have spent countless hours on the beach and at the pool. Some of my fondest memories are spent relaxing with my family and friends in Florida and in the Caribbean and I very much look forward to them.

While I have had many unforgettable warm weather retreats, I now seek more cultural travel opportunities to broaden my horizons and see the world from a different perspective. Some destinations I would like to experience include England, Spain, Italy, and Australia. As a current business student in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, I have learned that international business is key and has become increasingly popular. To keep up with the current business climate, I believe international experience is necessary, enticing me even further into travelling.

I am an accounting major and through my future career opportunities, I hope to make connections across the globe. It will make me a better person to be able to understand a variety of lifestyles and I hope travelling through business and for culture will shape me into a more open minded person. Also, I am quite passionate about my family's roots and am eager to visit some Eastern European countries to uncover some of my family's history. Combining business experience with family exploration and travel would be a dream come true, and I am taking the steps necessary to obtain this opportunity.
