Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson-Principal is a passionate marketing specialist who helps other entrepreneurs to market their businesses by maximizing resources that are readily available to them such as websites and different social media platforms.

He is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate at the University of British Columbia. Aside from that, he also holds a Professional Master of Business Administration degree from the same institution.

With MJM Consulting, he and his team are working on developing campaigns and strategies that are aimed at meeting the specific needs of each business. In the past years, they have guided small to medium-sized businesses in increasing their sales and improving customer retention strategies. Though Matt founded the company while still living in Canada, he later decided to move his family to the United States and settle down in the state of Washington where he has continued to run his business remotely.

Prior to leading his own firm, Matt Johnson-Principal has worked in a number of industries.

During the beginning of his professional career, he worked with Sage, marketing its consultants and expanding its customer base. After 9 years, Matt became part of Ritchie Bros where he helped improve communication systems and lead other initiatives including email marketing campaigns.

Furthermore, he also joined STEMCELL Technologies for a couple of years before starting his marketing consulting firm. At STEMCELL, Matt helped increase brand awareness through website optimization, social media efforts, and public relations which led to more sales and customer retention.

At present, Matt leads his firm in providing services related to marketing strategies, publicity, branding, email marketing, social media management, and more.

Despite his busy schedule, Matt also prioritizes making time for his wife and two children. He makes sure to travel with them or do other outdoor activities which he believe will equip the children with critical skills that they will need in the future and help them develop a good perspective on life.
