Matt Obrey

Matt is a photographer born and bred in Birmingham, UK. Humorous and surreal moments happen all day everyday. Watching people in their everyday surroundings, whether it be on the streets, in parks, on buses or in the supermarkets. Stealing these moments in time, helps to make sense of the chaotic world we live in. Capturing life as we sometimes may not see it, whilst looking for the extraordinary within the ordinary. A 39 year old self employed wall and floor tiler who has been shooting the streets now for around 3 years. He works with a Voigtlander Bessa R4m as his main camera and occasionally uses a Fuji X100 for digital works.
