Matt Sapaula is a Chicago-based financial coach with the goal of redefining his clients' futures by giving them the information, tools and guidance they need to take charge of their finances and create a better life. He has helped people answer two basic questions:
1) How do I better manage my money?
2) How do I make more money?
Bootcamp to Boardroom
Matt began his career in the financial services industry by working at a large brokerage firm in southern California in transition from active-duty service in the United States Marine Corps. In the Marines, Matthew's dedication to his country, his unit, and his duties propelled him to become a decorated military veteran serving in Africa, throughout Asia and the Persian Gulf. This time also gave him the values, discipline and drive that he brings to educate and motivate America's middle-class income families.

Matt became a financial editor contributing articles to various media outlets and busy on television as a recurring guest on WGN Morning News, FOX Good Day Chicago, NBC and ABC sharing financial tips that help give viewers the tools they need to create the financial life that they want in a changing economy.
Matt Sapaula was a featured co-host in a personal finance realty show for MSN Money's, The Invested Life, which was sponsored by TD Ameritrade. Matt also hosts the financial podcast, Money Smart Show and is a financial media personality known as the "Money Smart Guy".
Leading from the Front
Matt teaches personal finance as an instructor for DePaul University's Professional Continuing Education Department. Matthew inspires students to embrace the concept of a being "Money Smart", a process that allows individuals to become empowered by financial literacy and action thereby creating a source of stability and independence in the future from the decisions they make today.
Matt Sapaula also is a partner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago each year during Money Smart Week®, a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances.
The Money Smart team holds frequent online web-based seminars, mentor and mastermind group sessions along with live events that explore the misconceptions of traditional wealth-building strategies and successful entrepreneurship.
