I’m a senior DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer based in Brisbane, Australia. Over the years, I’ve worked across software development, DevOps, and production support, helping teams build, deploy, monitor, and improve systems in banking, government, transport, and commercial environments.
These days, I spend most of my time working with Azure, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automation. I enjoy making things more reliable, reducing manual effort, and helping teams gain clearer visibility into how their systems behave in the real world.
I’m known for being methodical, practical, and easy to work with, especially when things are a bit messy and need untangling. I also put a lot of value on clear documentation, good diagrams, and sharing knowledge so other people can support and improve what gets built.
In Sept 2011, I married the love of my life, Femke, and we have two boys born in 2012 and 2017!
