As a Career Coach at the University Career Center, I assist in guiding students through the development of their individual career paths. I work in a partnership with students, facilitating thoughtful discussion that spans the topics of resumes, CVs, mock interviews, career counseling, and job and internship searches. I believe a solid foundation of trust and open communication between a student and Career Coach is essential to create strong career development action plans going forward.
I am a second year graduate student in the Master's of Science Counseling Psychology program at KU. When I'm not at the University Career Center or in class, I also do some part time career-centered work with student-athletes for the Kansas University Athletic Department. Before KU, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (On Wisconsin!). I am also very interested in the data and analytical side of psychology.
In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy playing and watching sports of all types. From football and basketball to tennis and soccer, I’ll eagerly have a conversation with anyone about any sport. Otherwise, I like to spend time with friends and watch TV or movies, especially ones featuring Nicolas Cage.
