Matt is a professional drummer based in Durham/Newcastle. He has performed throughout the U.K. in internationally recognised venues including: Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle. The Sage, Gateshead. The Cluny, Newcastle. Manchester Academy, Manchester. The Magnet, Liverpool. The Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool. The Venue, Leeds. Santiago’s, Leeds. The Wardrobe, Leeds. Amongst hundreds of live dates Matt has worked for high profile clients such as 'Walkabout' bars, Liverpool University, Durham University, The Samling Academy and LMM live music management as well as numerous other bands and artists.

Matt studied a BA (HONS) in Popular Music Studies (1st Class) at Leeds College of Music, The UK's leading progressive conservatoire and recently completed his PGCE teaching qualification.

In July 2012 Matt achieved a Guinness world record for a drumming performance in aid of the MS Society. Matt worked co-ordinating a workshop collaboration for an important marketing rebrand at Leeds College of Music during early 2013. The video is still featured on the Leeds College of Music website. Matt was also privileged to perform at the 2014 Tour De France Grand Depart Live with David Osbourne's Puncture Kit show as part of the opening ceremony.
