Matt Edmondson

Matt Edmondson was born and raised in Los Angles County, California. He studied at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa and is currently pursuing his masters at the University of Southern California.

Matt is currently an Account Executive at Curtis Birch where he is responsible for client servicing and client acquisition. Matt and the team at Curtis Birch focus on their passion for action sports, music, entertainment and public service. Whether it's been writing, designing and producing integrated campaigns for the likes of LEGO, ABC and A&E Television Network or producing and directing spots for brands like Monster.com, Thor motocross and FUEL TV, they continue to pride themselves on quality.

During his undergraduate studies, Matt was the Co-Founder of am.bi.tion Public Relations. He successfully launched the firm, hired staff, opened an office and received an Orange County, California based multi-million real estate development company as his first client at the age of twenty-one.

Matt has skated alongside Ryan Sheckler and Pierre-André Senizergues at Sole Technology which is one of the largest private action sports companies in the world. Sole Technology is the parent company to etnies, etnies Plus, Emerica, éS Footwear, Thirty Two, Altamont and STI Lab (Read more here). His responsibilities included media clippings and archival of over 50 publications using Vocas PR software. He also frequently updated promotional product inventory, aided in product launch events and attended sponsorship contract meetings.

Matt also has experience working in the political sphere with the League of California Cities. He has strategized and executed the launch and quick emersion of one of its newest divisions. He also worked with a team to develop a portfolio for its members and general public. He also wrote article proofs and public policy drafts for elected officials in 23 out of the 34 cities in Orange County.

On the side, he has achieved recognition for his research in a book about current political movements from New Patriot Publishing. He has also successfully hosted a conference about environmental sustainability which received regional media coverage, over one hundred attendees and recognition from California Legislature Allan R. Mansoor and Assembly of the 68th District.
