As chief executive officer of Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd., Matt Eitner draws on more than 17 years of experience on Wall Street. He entered the financial sector as an equities trader with NDB Capital Markets Corporation, now Deutsche Bank, having studied business management at the University of Scranton. Matt Eitner went on to become an associate with International Strategy and Investment.
Mr. Eitner accepted his first executive position as vice president with boutique investment bank Casimir Capital. He left Casimir in the spring of 2008 to become managing director of the private client group at Aegis Capital Corporation.
Matt Eitner joined Laidlaw in October of 2010 and six months later became the firm's CEO. Since that time, he has facilitated the introduction of several senior staff members, including two managing directors brought on board when the firm expanded its London office in 2016. He had previously guided the expansion of the firm's health care market team in 2015, which added two institutional equity leaders.
