Matthew J. Eitrem

I am happily married and a father of four beautiful children. I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin with roots in the Ashland and Park Falls areas. I am a proud member of the Bad River Tribe of Chippewa. I have been in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) field since the late 90's. I put in a wonderful 13 years working for the Bad River Tribe as their GIS specialist and as a water resource technician. Since 2008 I have worked for the City of Ashland as their GIS Coordinator and GIS Technician. I am a tech geek at heart and have a real passion for the information system side of GIS, whether it is developing a geodatabase or creating a web mapping application. I am also a creative individual with a knack for authoring beautiful cartography and informative maps.
