Matteo Pagani

I'm a programmer specialized in mobile and web development and I've been interested in development since I was a kid. I took a High School diploma, Computer Science specialization in 2003 and took a degree in Computer Science in 2007. In the university's years, I started working with PHP, but a few months before degree I've discovered .NET and, since then, I've always worked with Microsoft technologies. Since 2007, I work in Gaia, a digital agency in Milan that develops web, mobile and client applications with focus in design and user experience excellence. Since January 2007 to January 2010, I worked in Gaia as web developer: my main assignment was the development of components for Zen, a CMS solution developed by Gaia itself. Due to my passion for the mobile world, I started to work, in May 2009, on some iPhone projects, learning the basics of Objective-C and iPhone development. Since January 2010, I officially became Mobile Software Engineer in Gaia and I've started to follow the company’s mobile projects. As soon as Windows Phone 7 has been announced, I've showed a great interest about the platform, due to my knowledge and passion about the .NET world. I'm deeply involved into the community world: in April 2010 I've opened an Italian blog about the mobile world, mainly focused on Windows Phone 7 development. I attended different communities and official Microsoft events talking about Windows Phone 7 development. I'm actually moderator of the official MSDN Windows Phone 7 forum. Since January 2011 I'm Microsoft MVP in the Device Application Development category.
