Anthony Mattera

Anthony Mattera is a Rhode Island born multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Over the years, he has played for various multi award winning East Coast musical acts including Shryne, A Faylene Sky, Heather Rose, SEXCoffee, The Alarming Sound, and more.

With Mattera on board, these groups received consistent commercial rock radio airplay and played for energetic crowds at several notable venues and festivals such as Boston’s Paradise Rock Club, Hard Rock Café, Rhode Island’s Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel, The Met, The Snapple Sunset Music Festival, and a slew of others.

Many of these shows included opening for national and mainstream acts such as Warpaint (Rough Trade Records), Gill Landry (ATO Records), Hawthorne Heights (Victory/Pure Noise), Secondhand Serenade (Glassnote), Jack’s Mannequin (Sire Records), Zox, and many more.

The East Coast native writes, records, and produces his own original music as an active solo artist. In a live setting, Mattera performs (acoustic guitar in hand) a mix of unique original compositions and eclectic cover material choices.
