Matt Gies
Regional Manager of Partner Development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Hello! My name is Matt and I am a senior care advocate seeking to collaborate with innovative and creative business professionals looking to change the world!
In college, I founded an organization called Rent-A-Grandson (RAG). Our small team of caring "grandsons" helped senior citizens in preparation for relocation with packing, moving, clean out, and downsizing services during their transition in long-term care. RAG was a unique way of filling in the gaps of transitional care with high-quality services integrated with senior living communities plans and procedures.
Now, the mission continues with the Moves for Seniors organization. Our team of senior moving professionals support seniors and providers with services like facilitation (pack, unpack, staging), local & long distance moving, donation, disposal, auction and labor assistance. With a national presence, our goal at Moves for Seniors is to take transition services to a new level with our concierge level of service that provides guidance for seniors and helps providers shorten their sales cycle for new resident move-ins.
I am a graduate from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. My passion is to work with organizations who are positively changing the way we care for others. One of those dedicated organizations making a difference is Amigos de Jesus. I am on the Strategic Development Committee for Amigos de Jesus, a non-profit orphanage supporting impoverished children in Honduras.
My hobbies include spending weekends at the shore, spending quality time with my wife, family and friends, and coaching baseball in my local community!
