Matt Haldane is a business journalist who has worked for the Arizona Republic, Phoenix Business Journal and Thomson Reuters (Washington, D.C. office). He earned bachelor's degrees in economics and journalism from Arizona State University and a master's in Global Business Journalism from Tsinghua University as a Hinrich Foundation Global Trade Scholar. Prior to that, he was an IT in the U.S. Navy. He was born in Boston and has also lived in Phoenix, South Korea and Japan.
