I believe God takes sovereign initiative in salvation from beginning to end and that the death of Christ effectively secures salvation. I believe the kingdom of God is a future reality on earth which is different from the church, and yet God has one plan for the ages which includes the church. I believe that Spirit-backed expository preaching of God's word is the heart of the Christian ministry.

Most call me Matt, some call me 郝柏昇. I like puns and corny jokes. I like coffee and theology–especially together. I like ninjas, music, and programming. I love my family. I love most the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and only–yet sure–hope.
