Matthew Wu

Matthew Wu started Dime Skateboards in the year 2000, and has driven it from one success to another. He founded the company with just $50,000 and started by retailing skateboards in his local community. Over the years, he has grown it into a $10 million dollar a year company that manufacturers skateboards, organizes skateboarding events, as well offering consultancy services on matters to do with skateboarding. Currently, it is expanding into the hotel industry, and is building a beach hotel in Miami. The success of this company is testament to the management prowess of Mr. Matthew Wu who attended Harvard business school, and has worked for top global finance companies such as Goldman Sachs. But Matthew Wu is not all work and no life. He is also a great family man, one who has nurtured his kids to take an interest in surfing, one of his best outdoor activities. Mr. Wu also spends at least one weekend on holiday with his wife and children on different destinations all across the world. He is also big on charity, and through his company, runs a foundation that helps homeless people get their lives back on track, and off the streets. His foundation provides them with skills that can help them start businesses.
