Matthew Breen

Matthew Breen is a Vice President at The Blackstone Group L.P. and is based in Menlo Park, CA. Mr. Breen joined Blackstone in 2008, and is a founding member of Blackstone’s West Coast Technology M&A practice. Mr. Breen is responsible for covering all sectors of the technology industry, and has significant experience in corporate M&A, equity and debt-financing transactions, and private equity investments. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Breen worked in Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division in the Technology Group based in Palo Alto, CA. Mr. Breen graduated with Distinction from University of Colorado, with a B.S. in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting. He is currently a member of the Leeds School of Business GOLD Board, the Burridge Center for Finance Advisory Board, and is involved in the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network in Colorado.
