Matthew Gallagher

I am Matthew Gallagher and i am an aspiring landscape and architecture photographer. I was born in Etobicoke, Toronto on August 17, 1994. I lived in Brampton, Ontario directly afterwards and stayed there for most of my life. I stayed in a private school called Rowntree Montessori School for a long time until the end of grade 6. In Grade 7, i went to Robert H. Lagerquist high school for grades 7 and 8 then went to Heart Lake Secondary School for grades 9 to 12. During my time in HLSS, I took courses for photoshop thinking I’d do it for an easy art credit but got really into it and it helped me consider going down the Photograher path. I took a year break between graduating and going to Durham College. I took courses during my break on Photography to learn as much as i can before college and bought the necessary equipment. While in college i did not know what kind of photography I was interested in but after looking online and seeing many different kinds of photographs i felt really comfortable with landscape and architecture. I am also still contemplating what kind of job I’ll do and where I’ll do it but I heard someone suggest me to go to National Geographic.
