Matthew is a digital web editor working for the UK Civil Service in Edinburgh. He manages web content, social media sites and digital communications in general. Matthew also has Press Office experience having spent nearly three years working as a Press Officer.

Originally from North Wales Matthew studied at Sheffield Hallam University where he began working for the UK Civil Service following graduation before moving to Edinburgh four years ago.

Matthew has many and varied interests ranging from learning Italian and Hungarian to the guitar and learning to sing. When he is not picking up new hobbies he can be found coaching the Napier University American Football Team or riding horses in the Scottish Borders or in hot countries.

Matthew is also a PRINCE2 Practitioner and is currently developing his digital communications skills through the IWA and has attended the Digital Communications course run by the Institute of Direct Marketing.
