Matthew Piscitelli
Archaeologist, Educator, and Project Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota
I am an effective communicator who brings the past to life for any audience. An archaeologist by training, I am also a National Geographic explorer.
After earning my Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I taught at Loyola University and Concordia University while maintaining a Research Associate position at the Field Museum. I then spent three years at the National Geographic Society as a Program Officer where I oversaw grantmaking in archaeology and paleoanthropology (human origins) before moving to Minnesota to be closer to family. Currently, I'm a Project Manager & Marketing Manager for SEARCH, a global archaeology consulting firm.
