I am talented in most aspects of Maintenance, Facilities Management and Emergency Services, with an Associate’s Degree and over 30 years’ experience in facilities related operations. My background includes extensive familiarity with many types of facilities and their operations. I am adept at recognizing and changing the cultures of departments and improving the way employees view their responsibilities. I proactively increase employee productivity and morale while increasing the safety culture of employee’s.
I am a confident, self-motivated Manager whose experience in leading change in difficult environments has been proven many times. My education, training and lifelong work experience has served to make me a highly effective manager. I have a good business sense as well as a keen knowledge in all aspects of maintenance, energy conservation, safety and facilities operations. I am always looking for processes that need improvement and my attention to details makes me successful.
I worked in Afghanistan for 9 months and had the pleasure to work with people from all over the world, it truely opened my eyes to other cultures and ways of life. I have always had a deep appreciation for the military, since I had the chance to work with them I have a deep seated gratitude for the men and women that serve, they are underappreciated, underpaid and make huge sacrifices. While I'm glad to be home, I still have a part of me that misses Afghanistan.
I have developed preventative maintenance procedures as well as established detailed procedures for regulatory compliance measures in Life Safety, OSHA and Security. My background in public safety makes me a leader in safe operations.
My customer service skills are second to none and I instill that attitude into my workforce, together with this attitude we can accomplish great things.
