Matthew Walter Riley

I am Matthew Walter Riley, a business owner, tradesman, aviator, diver, and volunteer from Red Oak, Iowa. I grew up on a century farm, and my father’s military service meant we moved during my childhood, teaching me independence. I played sports and competed in figure skating, placing fifth nationally. I studied drafting in high school and completed a four-year sheet metal apprenticeship, becoming a journeyman in 2002. I own businesses in construction, real estate, and aviation. I served ten years with the Corning Volunteer Fire Department, am a certified diver, a licensed pilot, and an amateur radio operator.
