Traveling the world is very important to do. The opportunity to experience other languages and cultures is an eye opening experience and can change people’s outlook on life. My interests, being that of singing and baking, are constantly influenced by my travels. When in New York, my inner Broadway star emerges from my normally introverted self. In Paris, the bustling streets suddenly stop as I am whisked into a local pastry shop to smell the smells and taste the goodies. The stories of true Belgian chocolate do not accurately depict its sensational taste and texture. These experiences have helped make me the person I am today and in turn will help me decide where I want to go in life.

Some people might ask why I am a New Media major if my interests are in music, baking, and traveling. To me, Media is the one thing that truly connects all these hobbies.
