Matthew Wu

Matt (Matthew) was most recently an EIR for Rocket Internet. Prior to joining Rocket Internet, Matt already had experience founding a number of internet start-ups. EzBuy178.com.tw, was the first internet start-up Matt co-founded. It was also one of the first fashion focused E-Commerce sites in Taiwan. Matt's second start-up Voyagetw.com, was a discount site for all kinds of services from restaurants to hotels. Voyagetw.com later worked with Moet Chandon and introduced its service to all of Moet's high-end restaurants in Taiwan. Voyagetw.com also launched a Groupon's "Scheduler" likeservicend It allowed merchants to open up services at a discount rate to fillin empty tables. Before Matt's entrepreneurships, he was already an experienced Sales/Marketing Manager working at MDA and LVMH for over 5 years.

Matt firmly believes in the "Disruptive" capabilities of the "Internet" and aims to build great "Internet Services" that will benefit many in Asia. He is also an active participant in tech related activities in Taiwan and is closely connected with all of the incubators. By visiting all the new start-ups himself, he is able to build a strong net-work of bright Business and Tech founders that will allow him to build many successful new internet services in the future.
