Matthew Kelly

I was born in Northern California, raised in Boise, Idaho. I studied Theater Arts/Performance at Boise State University, and I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina after school, where I studied improv and sketch comedy at Charlotte Comedy Theater under Second City alumnus Keli Semelsberger. I later moved to Los Angeles and had the best/craziest/scariest time of my life as a working actor, doing everything from live sketch comedy to commericals to children's theater. I even played a dead guy once.

I am currently back in Boise, taking part in the growing film community in the Treasure Valley, working as an actor and running a film acting workshop that I modeled after a workshop I attended for over a year in North Hollywood. I have never lost a clean thumb-war match, and I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
