Matthew Abbate

School Counselor, Consultant, and Director in New York

Originally from New York, I have been actively involved in international education for more than half of my life, beginning with a service learning project that I helped organize in Nicaragua at 14 years old. I am passionate about helping young people discover who they are and in guiding them to pursue their dreams.

My undergraduate research in Comparative Religion, Culture, and Foreign Language brought me to 275 cities in 14 countries. I have directed numerous summer study abroad trips to Spain and hosted several summer camps in China and in the USA.

Recently, I launched my website, FreeCollegeAdvice, which focuses on the development of academic, social, career, and college readiness skills through resource sharing and professional insight.

I am always looking to meet like-minded individuals to share ideas and resources, so be sure to message me through any of the social networking apps below!
