A staff physician with DocsWhoCare in Olathe, KS, Dr. Matthew Bogard treats patients at emergency rooms in several rural Iowa hospitals. Additionally, he's worked with IHS Winnebago Hospital in Nebraska in an emergency room that treats more than 7000 patients each year. Dr. Matthew Bogard currently practices emergency medicine exclusively, is board certified in Family Medicine and pursuing dual board certification in both Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine

Dr. Bogard earned a bachelor of science in health administration and policy from Creighton University and a medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He went on to complete an advanced four-year rural training program at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine that included a year as chief resident physician in the Department of Family Medicine. A member of numerous professional organizations, Dr. Bogard belongs to the Nebraska Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Flying Physicians Association. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and boating.
