Matthew Brodacki
Stamford, Connecticut, United States
I currently work in both the private and public sector, and have completed a dual masters program at the University of New Haven in Computer Forensics, and Public Administration.
Private Sector:
Navigating the complexities of a technical case, parsing through data, and preserving critical records are something I take a great deal of pride in. Having investigated computer crimes for over a decade gives me the ability to help private companies identify and close common exploits or identify weaknesses within a network.
I enjoy learning the unique circumstances of each problem, and strive to commit my very best in finding the most effective solution. I have worked for several law firms, technical companies, medical hospitals, financial institutions, and fortune 100 companies. I can render assistance with network intrusion cases, forensics, audits, policies, or just proactively hardening a network.
Public Sector:
I am currently a Sergeant / Forensic Examiner and member of a Technical Investigation Unit in Southwest Connecticut. I regularly conduct forensic examinations and technical investigations at the request of the States Attorney’s office to include: murder, kidnapping, child exploitation, bomb investigations, fraud, and various other crimes. I have processed and worked on over 150 cases.
I have participated in a public campaign throughout Connecticut with then Attorney General Blumenthal on technical aspects, and co-testified before Senate on emerging technologies. Recently I was also selected and honored to instruct prosecutors at the Connecticut Chief States Attorney’s office on the topic of computer forensics, and have been a guest speaker or instructor on many instances throughout the state in both the private and public capacity.
