Matthew Bushell

I began my career in financial services in 2016, starting out with a Melbourne based advice firm before making the move to Perth. Since then, I’ve continued to grow both personally and professionally, developing my skills as an adviser and deepening my understanding of the financial landscape to better support the clients I work with.

I hold a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University, majoring in Economics and Finance, along with a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional. I’ve also completed additional qualifications in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, allowing me to provide more specialised advice in this area.

What drew me to this profession, and continues to inspire me, is the opportunity to connect with people in a meaningful way. I’ve always been a people person at heart. I love hearing people’s stories, understanding their journey, and being part of what comes next. For me, being an adviser brings together two things I value deeply: building strong relationships and continually learning and evolving in a dynamic, technical space like finance and investment.

I understand that financial decisions can often feel complex and overwhelming, and can be a major source of stress in people’s lives. My goal is to be a trusted partner in that space. I work alongside my clients to develop clear, practical strategies that reduce stress and create confidence, so they can spend more time focusing on what truly matters to them.

I’m here to ensure you feel supported, understood, and empowered every step of the way.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my wife, our son, my wider family and close friends. I’m passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle hence enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s running and exercising, hitting the beach or enjoying all things sport.
