Matthew Duncan

Hi everyone, I am a Brisbane based freelance photographer who specialises in Wedding and Portrait photography through my business Inspired Photographics. I also offer a range of commercial photographic services through Matthew Duncan Photography.

As you can see in my images I am also a bit of an adventure and love to get out exploring forgotten urban environments. The artist and creative in me are constantly looking for new ideas and concepts to incorporate into my work. I love creating images that draw viewers in, searching for answers but instead provoking questions and conversations.

Some of my favorite artists and photographers include Gregory Crewdson, Jerry Ueslmann, Diane Arbus, Alexia Sinclair, Vivian Maier, Steve McCurry and more recently Ormond Gigli. After looking through my images I am sure you will be able to see how each and every one of these photographers have influenced my work.

I think outside the box, I ask questions, I am a traveller, a dreamer, a creative, an artist.
